Drift Facility

Year: 2016

My first ever project with Dragon Energy involved me teaming putting together a drifting video which would be filmed at the Dragon Energy warehouse where all their bottling takes place. I was tasked with scripting, directing, shooting and editing the whole thing.

Two days of filming and a week of editing, we ended up with the following video:

Duneville Namibia

Year: 2017

Dragon Energy Drink South Africa was expanding their operation to Namibia and wanted to do so with an explosive film. Weeks of planning and four days of filming resulted in this Xtreme Duneville production.

The production was conducted on a tight budget and involved one driver, one assistant and me, directing and filming everything. Filmed on the Sony PXW FX9 and 15 GoPro cameras, it was an intense long shoot. The editing took a while to complete before it was handed over to the amazing Morné Marais Sound Surgeon Studios.

Dubai Launch

Year: 2018

Wanting to make an impact on their launch in Dubai, Dragon Energy Drink wanted to come to market demonstrating how their product suits the lifestyle that Dubai has to offer. To do this, we settled on an idea to shoot the whole video in a POV blog style using only GoPro action cameras.

5 Days of filming with a fantastic action packed schedule resulted in what has to be one of my favourite productions to date. The video starred Anthony Raynard and myself taking on some action sports activities and I would absolutely do it again.

Backyard BMX

Year: 2020
